Design Nolan-style nonlinear timelines that keep the audience oriented

Design, break down and revise nested or interlocking timelines. Lay out the true chronology first, then the order in which the audience learns things, using parallel lines, reverse chains, nested frames, two-way timelines, multi-perspective puzzles or loops. Every switch should raise or answer a question, and the audience should always know which line they are on.
