Refunds and Cancellations

本文件目前仅提供英文版本,并以英文版本为准。

This policy is part of our Terms of Service. ClipTap is billed by usage: you pay for a plan or a credit pack, and generations spend credits. Subscription fees and credits are not refunded. This page explains how cancellation works and the few cases in which we do return money. Nothing in it limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

  1. 1. Cancelling a subscription
  2. 2. Upgrades and downgrades
  3. 3. Credits
  4. 4. Exceptions
  5. 5. Billing errors and questions

1.Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel a Pro or Studio subscription at any time from your workspace's billing settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal. Your plan, its features, and its monthly credit allowance stay active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for; after that the workspace moves to the free plan and keeps its content and any other credits that are still valid.

Because you keep access until the end of the period, subscription fees are not refunded, in whole or pro rata, for partial months or years, unused monthly credits, or periods in which you did not use the Service.

2.Upgrades and downgrades

When you upgrade, the change takes effect immediately and a new billing period starts; the unused part of your previous period is credited against the new charge at checkout. When you downgrade, the change takes effect at the end of the current period, so there is nothing to refund.

3.Credits

Credits of every kind — credits bought in one-time credit packs and credits we grant — have no cash value and are not refundable, whether or not they have been used.

Credits you buy never expire. Credits we grant for particular models may carry an end date shown on your billing page; whatever of them is left after that date expires and is not refunded.

If a generation fails because of an error on our side or the model provider's, the credits it reserved are returned to your workspace automatically. This is a return of credits, not a payment refund.

4.Exceptions

If you were charged twice, charged after you cancelled, or charged because of a billing error on our side, we will refund the incorrect charge.

If the law where you live requires a refund — for example a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase — you have that right. By starting to use a subscription or credits within a withdrawal period, you ask us to begin providing the service immediately, and any refund may be reduced in proportion to what you have used, as that law allows.

5.Billing errors and questions

If you think you were charged in error, email [email protected] from the address on your account with the workspace name, the invoice or charge, and what went wrong. We reply within 5 business days. Refunds of incorrect charges go back to the original payment method through Stripe and usually arrive within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank; a chargeback may pause the workspace's paid features while it is resolved.
